Alexander Lyons, C.P.O. from Lyons P&O taught a prosthetic course for the Waccamaw Rehabilitation Center rehab staff on January 7, 2009. The course, entitled "Introduction/Review Of Lower Extremity Prosthetics," covered prosthetic history, followed by detailed prosthetic advancements. Also in attendance were Trent Bowers from Otto Bock and Eric Westover from UpperEx. Staff at the Waccamaw Rehabilitation Center were given valuable tools and knowledge that they can pass on to their patients.
